In our Vocabulary Skills Development class, playing crosswords is a part of learning new words and developing vocab. skills. 30 students including Indonesian exchange students, Hanna & Lin, were divided into a team of 4-5. I encouraged them to try to put words related to the Christmas theme. For those who are able to make it would get a chance to win 4 notebooks, I bought from 1 Ed. Eng. freshman. It's kind of support I want to do for him. It's just 20 B. / 1 notebook.

-We had 3 words related to Christmas day. We got ‘Give,
Santa, & Pie’. From this activity, we learn many words that we never
know the meaning before. This game makes us spend time with friends more and helps
each other to find the words. Moreover, I think this activity makes us forget
everything around because we only focus on it.

This game is really fun. In this game we try to find a Christmas word. This game is quite hard actually for me but I love this. Although this is like a competition but I feel this game is like a friendly game because we can encourage and help our friends to find out when there's no clue.

This game helps us to practice vocabulary. We learn a lot of new word from our
friends. We also learn how to play this game and how to get more points. We
have a great time together and help each other to play this game.

We got the words ‘tow’ and ‘eve’
which we thought they were related to Christmas the most.
‘Tow’ means to pull a vehicle behind another vehicle. It made us think about santa ‘s sleigh which is towed with reindeers.
‘Eve’ means a day before an important event. It made us think about Christmas’s Eve. We are always excited, and prepare many things for coming Christmas.

We feel really fun with this game. This game helps us to practice vocabulary.
At last, we got scores 222:111. It was surprising us. We have a great time
together and we want to play it again at another time. Thank you so much.

words. We think this game is really fun and challenging. We learn a lot of new
words from friends. We think of the vocabulary. If it has more time, it would
