New Year party
December is always the month that people are looking forward to as it’s holiday season. The frequently asked question is “What’s your new year plan?”. “Any trip?”
Before TSU staff will be hectic with proctoring the midterm exams from 24-28/12/12 and visiting hometown, TSU chose the doom day, 21/12/12, to be the day for New year party on campus. I thought the staff looked forward to this time of the year as they’d get a chance to win about 50 gifts from a lucky draw offered by the head of each dept. & executives. I was also the one who would like to check my luck. Probably it’s me who carried one of 2 fridges home. Not only 2 fridges, I saw a washing machine, microwave, rice cooker, fan, blanket, and etc. Wow!
Soi, Tohn, Aj. Rattiya, P’Waew, P’Nong, P’Yok & I came to the party around 5 pm. and we had to wait till the president arrived to be able to grab food at the food booths. Very hierarchy, huh!
I know, I know, I’d no luck. Even I waited till 9.30 pm, my name wasn’t announced. How come! Probably other staff also thought like me that if they waited till the end of the party, luck would be theirs. Haha…
Tohn, P’Waew & P’Nong gave up after 1 hr. I’m afraid that if I left the table, if my name was called out, I’d be regret so why didn’t wait for a while J.
Thinking positively, I came home with empty hands,but at least I got full stomach:)
Fang’s Wedding Party
Fang, Ajarn Jammaree’s youngest daughter, celebrated her wedding at the B.P.Samila Hotel on Sun. 23/12/12. She might not recognize me & some lecturers from the Western Lang. Dept., but since Aj.Jammaree’s a kind senior lecturer who always supports young lecturers, so almost everyone from the dept. willingly participated in this reception. Surprisingly, the next day was the first day of the midterm exam week, but Aj.Jammaree came to proctor the exam. Such a responsible woman. Some people might come up with the excuse that they’re very exhausted from the reception as it’s understandable. This’s really a spirit.
