Happiness is in the air

Happiness is in the air
November 24, 2015
This exercise involves two components: i) defining happiness, and ii) incorporating happiness.
1. What is your definition of happiness? Please write your answer below.
To me, happiness means feeling accomplished of doing something new and that kind of things make other people smile and be pleased. Also, happiness includes the moment that ones share good moment together with family, friend and boyfriend/ girlfriend.  People are likely to be happier when they share their success & accomplishment with others and see others join their happiness.
2. What makes you happy in the way that you have defined it? (List 3 – 4 things/activities). Please write your answer below.

These are some activities that make me happy:

1.  Visiting poor kids at the local orphanage. By doing so, I see kids eagerly join the activity and when I leave the place, they ask me to visit them again. I see their eyes sparkling and broad smiles. That makes me feel like I'm important to them.  The moment of sharing happiness between kids & I are very enriching & precious.

2.  Walking on campus and smell flowers' fragrance.  I think just only people who walk, not drive, will be able to look at small things and enjoy nature along the way to office. It's very simple, but brighten my working days. This's the way we share our happiness in a kitchen.

3.  Cooking with my mum.  She's a great cook and when I've a foreign friends visiting home, we cooked for them. My mum's very happy when guests give her a compliment.  That makes me happy too.

4.  Writing a blog.  I frequently manage time to write a blog after getting back from a journey. I feel happy to reflect my trip and put it in my blog.  More importantly, when I read it later, it reminds me of my happy moment while traveling.
