Tomorrow event: International Art Exchange (Thai - USA)

Being a simultaneous interpreter's very challenging for me.
Even I've gain some experience of doing this kind of job, I still feel excited. 

ผ่านการเป็นล่ามแปลทันทีทันใดมาหลายงาน ก็ยังอดตื่นเต้นเล็กๆไม่ได้ เพราะต้องพยายามใช้ทักษะการฟังให้ได้หลายสำเนียง จับใจความอย่างเร็ว และพูดทันทีเมื่อประมวลเรื่องได้

แม้จะมีชั่วโมงบินมาหลายงาน แต่ทุกครั้งก็เป็นเรื่องใหม่ๆซะทุกที ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องสันติภาพในภาคใต้ การศึกษาในอาเซียน พหุสังคม

คราวนี้ฉีกแนวสุดๆ "ศิลปะ" สงสัยต้องทำตัวเป็นศิลปินไปเข้างาน

Tues. 18/2/14

Today, TSU held the 'International Art Exchange Workshop' which aimed to promote arts cooperation among international and national artists. 16 International artists based in USA shared their artworks via power point and VDO clips. Wanlapa & I were the simultaneous interpreters for the morning presentation. It's quite hard work but touching as we also got an opportunity from artist inspirations and learn from their experience. Some artists used trash to make audience ponder how we could save our environment. To me, it seems all artists are very nature lovers as their themes are always about environment.

In the afternoon, audience walked around to see artists's workshops. Amazingly, they could produce wonderful artworks using their imagination in 1 hr. They seemed to be artists by nature.

After spending time helping artists express their ideas towards artworks in the morning, it's my time to relax and play with arts.

หลังจากใช้สมองไปกับการตั้งสมาธิเพื่ออธิบายสิ่งที่ศิลปินบรรยาย ช่วงบ่ายวันนี้สนุกมากกับการดูศิลปินทำงาน และขอช่วยทำ ประหนึ่งว่างานชิ้นเอกเป็นฝีมือเราเอง!

All staff from the Fac. of Fine Arts made this event happen fruitfully for the benefits of local artists, art teachers and students. 

Last but not least, Bu was the main photographer & May helped out around. Big applause to them, too.
